As a web and graphic designer, as well as a user experience engineer, I build things that are both beautiful and functional. If it is visual; I am interested.
What do I create?
It is my intention that by reading this information, it will become clear what it is I create and how I might fit into your team or project.

The Slightly Longer Answer
If you would like to read more about what I create, I discuss my ideal project here and elaborate on the things that I create.
How do I work?
I am process oriented. As you may have discovered, most, if not all projects require some customization to the process, timeline, plan, etc. to satisfy expectations. These projects require pre-production, or a plan. The client, prior to work beginning, can do most of this pre-production. As a helpful tool, I have provided a rough outline of a project plan that seems to fit most projects, or at least will provide a starting point:
- Discovery and analysis
Learning about you, your company and product/service, figuring out the goals of the project, and planning a set of deliverables. - Proposal
From the discovery, generate a proposal to address your requirements. If you’re happy with it, we commit to working together. - Initial design
Taking what’s been learned in the previous steps and coming up with an initial set of mockups or presentation materials that address as many of those issues as possible. - Feedback and refinement
A predetermined number of rounds where you provide feedback, I make revisions to the initial design, you provide more feedback, I revise more, etc. Repeat until we’re all happy, or the predetermined rounds end, whichever come first. - Coding and implementation
Once the design is finalized, I build out the templates and someone implements them. (Sometimes that someone is me, often it’s you or your people.) In many projects, at this point there will be further changes to the initial templates that require extra work; these usually come in the form of extra pages, templates, or content styling that came about after the initial deliverables have been determined. It’s common that we don’t have a clear picture of what all is needed at the beginning of the project, and closer to the end that becomes much more obvious. - Final Pass
After everything’s “done”, we do a quick review to make sure it all looks and works the way it should.
Please be reminded, this is a general guideline. Once started, most projects tend to dictate their own process. And that’s okay too.

How quickly can i get it done?
While I have mentioned that I am flexible and can accommodate, I enjoy projects that offer ample time and flexibility to effectively plan, produce and complete the work, while allowing enough time for testing and tweaking. That time frame for me is anywhere between one and three months, with three weeks to 2 months lead up time for pre-production.
How much will it cost?
It depends. there is a good reason why this response the question has become a cliché and almost a running joke. It is because it is true. All projects are different and no matter how hard we try to streamline it, customizations and accommodations must be made for each, and unfortunately that usually affects price.
